## What Are Perpetuals?

**Perpetual Futures (perps)** are perpetual futures contracts. You can:

* **Long** — profit from price going up
* **Short** — profit from price going down
* Use **leverage** up to the asset's maximum

Unlike regular futures, perpetuals have no expiration date — the position stays open until you close it or liquidation occurs.

## Provider: Hyperliquid

QR Wallet integrates with **Hyperliquid** — one of the leading decentralized exchanges for perpetual trading:

* Execution speed < 1 second
* Dozens of trading pairs (BTC, ETH, SOL, ARB, etc.)
* Centralized performance, decentralized reliability

## How to Trade

1. Go to the **Perpetual** section
2. Select **trading pair** (e.g., BTC/USD)
3. Choose direction: **Long** or **Short**
4. Set **leverage**
5. Choose order type:
   * **Market** — execute at current price
   * **Limit** — execute at specified price
   * **Stop-Limit** — conditional order
6. Enter amount and confirm

## Interface

The trading screen shows:

* **Order book** — current buy/sell orders
* **Recent trades** — feed of recent trades
* **Funding rate** — current funding rate
* **Mark Price / Index Price** — prices for P\&L calculation
* **24h stats** — volume, price change, high/low

## Position Management

Open positions display:

* Current P\&L (profit/loss) in real time
* Liquidation price
* Margin
* Position size
* Average entry price

## Deposit & Withdraw

To trade, you need to transfer funds to Hyperliquid:

1. **Deposit** — send USDC to HyperEVM
2. **Withdraw** — pull back to wallet
